Russ Lail
President of Springbrook Insurance
Russ attended Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, Maryland which is where the company name originated. He played collegiate soccer at Montgomery College in Maryland and the University of South Florida. In 1974 he graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Wildlife Management.
Upon moving to San Diego, Russ obtained his insurance license in 1981, and his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1994. With over 27 years of Commercial Insurance experience, Russ has worked at several insurance agencies in downtown San Diego. He decided to form his own agency to concentrate on serving the Non-Profit sector in 2006. He has extensive experience in personal lines, commercial lines and life insurance.
Russ lives in San Diego with his wife, Cindy. His hobbies include kayaking, biking, coaching soccer and landscape gardening. His 2 children, Jordan and Chelsea recently graduated from Cal Poly Pomona and UCLA, respectively.

Salvatore (Sal) J. Crivello
Independent Broker
Sal is a third generation San Diego native that lives in Poway with his wife Jamie of sixteen years and three children, two older girls, Giovanna the tennis player and Giulianna the softball player and the youngest being his son Sammy the baseball player. He is a coach for his daughter in Travel Softball (Fast pitch), and is starting to coach his son Sammy.
Sal is an avid photographer and has his own website where he displays and sells his photography (www.photosbysal.net), he also has owned horses and was involved with the Reserve Mounted Rangers of Poway where he patrolled the trails and lakes of the area. Sal owned and operated a successful sports bar and restaurant called 1St Round Draft in Ocean Beach and was a graduate of Point Loma High School and the University of San Diego.
He has been in the commercial insurance industry for fifteen years and has specialized in the contracting industries as well as all types of retail, sports leagues, fitness, and security guard businesses. He has a vast knowledge of all aspects of insurance including; general liability, property, workers compensation, commercial auto, errors & omissions, officers & directors, and bonding.

Leigh Shelton
Customer Service Representative
Leigh moved to San Diego from Pensacola, FL in 1997 w/her husband who was a Lt. Commander in the United States Navy.
They currently live in North County with their 2 children, 2 dogs, numerous salt water fish, and a turtle.
She & her husband are members of the Biggs Harley-Davidson Chapter and enjoy riding their motorcycles all around San Diego County. Her other hobbies include roller skating and cooking.
Leigh has been in the insurance industry since 1991.
Prior to working in the insurance industry, Leigh was a Paralegal w/two attorneys in Florida.
